Artist

Organic art practitioner, artist Basant Soni is a retired Govt official dedicated to the service of nature. He creates art from organic material like flowers, flower petals, leaves, grass, wood chips, tree bark etc. He is actively involved in various campaigns related to environment protection. He believes that we can still heal the planet and leave it as a better place than we inherited.

Basant Soni is also working as IFAA academician since Jan 2012. He teaches Organic Art at IFAA-India’s only online art academy And he has recently started the process of ready made organic art kits. Processing of natural material needed for the creation of organic art is a time-consuming process and at times it is not possible for everyone to devote the required amount of time. Since Basant Soni is continuously processing the material for art projects, he has decided to share a part of it with those who are interested. These kits contain tree bark or bamboo sheet to be used as the canvas and other dry material like flowers, leaves, petals etc.
